So we casted the “Swamp man” in Taidevalimo, Säkylä, Finland. The whole process was made together with Tomi Sinisalo and Hanna Makkonen. Here is a set of photos from the casting process. The sculpture was cut in two pieces and was in two casting molds. During the September, we are going to weld the pieces together and I will start working with the bronze and fade away the marks of the casting process from the final surface.

Here are two photos after opening the molds and cleaning the raw bronze. The casting channels are still on place and will be removed at first.
